OUR CULTURE

      In a lane man language culture is said to be our total way of life. It is also said to be the cumulative deposit of knowledge, experience, beliefs, values, attitudes, meaning, hierarchies, religion notions of time, roles spatial relation, concept of the universe and material object and possessions acquired by a group of people in the course of generations through individual and group striving.
      Culture also consist of different patterns, inplict and explicit of any behavior acquired by transmitted by symbols, constituting different achievement of human groups, including their take in the art craft.the essential core of culture consist of traditional ideas including their values, their system may be considered as a product of action.


TYPES OF CULTURE;
There are two main type of culture which are;
. Material
. Non material

. MATERIAL CULTURE:this kind of culture has to do with physical appearance ie things that are made by the society. Nigeria is blessed with a good material resources so as Americans that their production are based on car which makes them proud. This cars symbolize their place in the society plus their wealth. Material culture does not basically mean that it could be bought or sold, it can also be something we make ourselves like macaroni art that has being in existence for years now.
. NON MATERIAL CULTURE: This could be referred to as this intangible things produced by a culture. These are the kind of culture that you can't feel, touch, taste and hold. Examples of this kind of culture are ethics, social roles, beliefs or even language. Equality was also said to be part of non material culture but it does not actually exist its just an idea that deals on how people are to be treated. The non material culture is much of a big influence on our lives as material culture is.

ELEMENTS OF CULTURE;
     Our cultures are composed of several elements which are:-
. Social culture
. Custom
. Religion
. Language
. Government
. Economy
.Arts.
 Note:- our culture is said to be our pride because it tells on who and what we are.
