The Huawei Mate 40 and the Mate 40 Pro are the most anticipated phones of the year and for a good reason. The leaks and rumours we have seen till yet are pretty groundbreaking. A few days ago we also learned that Huawei is not delaying the launch date of the Mate 40 series. Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro are on schedule and the phone will see its launch date in October.
Now it seems there is a big change of plan and the smartphone is delayed. The only reason behind this delay is the United States.
The United States further extended the ban on Huawei and they also made a law that US companies can't do business with Huawei anymore. All of the companies who were using American tech also can't do business.
Now due to US ban; the TSMC, which was making the chipsets for Huawei is delaying the production. It was believed that TSMC would continue production of chipsets that it had already been asked to produce by Huawei. Now it seems the company may be delaying future orders and that will impact the Mate 40 release.
Huawei is not apparently assessing its options to see what it should do next for the Mate 40 chipset production and that means the phone as a whole will be later in doing mass production than it had hoped.
Due to this whole mess Huawei has asked some of its production partners to delay the process of the manufacturing the next Huawei flagship until they find a new solution.
The phone will be delayed only for one to two months which is not a huge gap but right now the actual impact of this whole mess is unclear.
The upcoming Mate 40 series will get some insane specifications as well as some highly curved screen and it's officially confirmed.
A list of 20/20 smartphones who will end up using 120 Hertz refresh rate screens includes the Mate 40 smartphone.
Finally we are getting an insane 120 Hertz panel in upcoming Mate 40.
