Police in Portugal have opened up investigations after Cristiano Ronaldo’s 10-year-old, son Cristiano Jr was filmed riding a jet ski alone.

The video showed Cristiano Jr. racing through the water before moving round in circles as he was praised by family members on the luxury vessel.

Towards the end of the 1.30 minute video a woman in a life jacket could be seen jumping into the water, although the young boy switched on the engine before she approached it.

The disturbing footage was uploaded by the young boy's aunt, Elma Aveiro on her Instagram page on Monday, July 13.

According to Portuguese press, the video also shared by his famous footballer dad and his grandmum Dolores Aveiro, was taken on Saturday in Paul do Mar off the south of Madeira where Cristiano Ronaldo Jr is holidaying with relatives.

The video has been deleted after receiving backlash from fans.

Manchester City to play in Champions League next season as CAS overturns the club?s two-year ban from European football

Premier League club, Manchester City will play in the Champions League next season after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) overturned the club’s two-year ban from European football.

Back in February, Manchester City were handed the suspension by UEFA's club financial control body for "serious breaches" of club licensing and financial fair play regulations.

At that time, the independent Adjudicatory Chamber of UEFA's Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) found City guilty of "overstating its sponsorship revenue in its accounts and in the break-even information submitted to Uefa between 2012 and 2016".

The findings also noted that City "failed to cooperate in the investigation" and ruled that the club should be banned from European football for the next two seasons and fined €30million (£26.9million).

The club vehemently denied any wrongdoing and appealed the decision at CAS last month.

At 9:30 on Monday morning, the verdict from the three-day appeal hearing which took place in June was announced in the club's favour.

They will now be allowed to play in the Champions League and pay a €10m reduced fine instead of the initial €30million they were handed.

A City statement said: "Whilst Manchester City and its legal advisors are yet to review the full ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), the Club welcomes the implications of today’s ruling as a validation of the Club’s position and the body of evidence that it was able to present.

"The Club wishes to thank the panel members for their diligence and the due process that they administered."

A UEFA statement remarked: "UEFA takes note of the decision taken by the Court of Arbitration for Sport to reduce the sanction imposed on Manchester City FC by UEFA’s independent Club Financial Control Body for alleged breaches of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play regulations.

"UEFA notes that the CAS panel found that there was insufficient conclusive evidence to uphold all of the CFCB’s conclusions in this specific case and that many of the alleged breaches were time-barred due to the 5 year time period foreseen in the UEFA regulations.

"Over the last few years, Financial Fair Play has played a significant role in protecting clubs and helping them become financially sustainable and UEFA and ECA remain committed to its principles.

"UEFA will be making no further comments on the matter."

The verdict will come as no surprise to Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola, who said last week he was "so confident" City would be playing Champions League football next season.

The Spaniard said: "On Monday, I'm so confident because I know and hear the arguments of the club. Next season we will be there and after I will give my opinion and the club will give a statement."

Tesla's Model Y received a $ 3,000 price reduction

Model Y began shipping in March, and earlier this month Tesla reported better delivery numbers for all of its vehicles in the second quarter, so the reason for the price cut is unclear. However, it is likely that all automakers will help increase sales at a time when they feel the tightening of the economic downturn.

Tesla lowered prices on several vehicles in May, but Model Y was not included in these discounts. Prices in the basic models and Performance versions of the Model S and Model X reduced $ 5,000 and prices in all versions of Model 3 decreased by $ 2,000 (Prices for Model 3s sold in China were slightly different).

He said he delivered 80,050 of Model Y and Model 3 vehicles and 10,600 of Model S and Model X vehicles, although the Fremont plant in California was temporarily closed due to a coronavirus pandemic. This delivered the total for the second quarter to 90,650 vehicles, better than the 72,000 expected by Wall Street analysts.

Sales of all cars in the past few months have been a hit, with trend estimator IHS Markit predicting a 22% drop in the global car market this year. Electric vehicle sales are expected to drop by 18 percent, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance. According to Edmunds.com, automobile sales increased slightly - from May to June - about 3.3 percent, but CNBC fell 30 percent compared to a year ago.

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta gives opinion on Jose Mourinho ahead of their first North London derby

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta gives opinion on Jose Mourinho ahead of their first North London derby

Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta has given his opinion on Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho, ahead of Arsenal’s showdown with Tottenham labeled 'the North London derby'.

Both managers will slug it out for the first time on Sunday afternoon (4.30pm) in the Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and it will be the first time both coaches experience coaching a club in a north London derby as well.

Arsenal drew 2-2 at home to Spurs way back at the start of September in the reverse fixture this season. That was when Unai Emery and Mauricio Pochettino were still in charge of the respective teams.

Neither club has enjoyed a successful season, with both struggling to even qualify for the Europa League as the Premier League campaign finally nears its end

In a recent interview, Arteta revealed how highly he thinks of two-time Champions League winner and three-time Premier League champion Mourinho.

When asked whether Mourinho was still a world-class manager, Arsenal boss Arteta said: “Absolutely.

“They have had some up and downs, but overall you can clearly see what he wants to bring to the club.

“He manages the energy, the momentum and established a really strong culture in a strong football club that does it. And as well, he makes sure that he wins, and he has won in every single club that he has been.

“Obviously the situation, the timing when he arrived, is different than starting a new project right from the summer, but I am sure he will be successful.

“He has always been. He always finds the right way to do it and it will take him a bit of time, but I am sure he will do it.”

Arteta added: “He has a very clear way of playing, a clear way of how he manages games.

“I think clean sheets are obviously a big thing that he wants to do, but his teams - don’t forget - always score a lot of goals. They have been really successful and they have been able to win titles because of that.

“I think in a long period they [Tottenham] have had a lot of injuries. So he hasn’t had the chance to be consistent as well with his team and that’s a big disadvantage that they have.

“I know he has done it. I know people have worked with him and he always finds a way to be successful and I am sure he will do it again.”

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra may give us a pleasant surprise

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra may give us a pleasant surprise

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
Add caption
Couple of days ago, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra was revealed in a hands-on video. The video showcased the design of the handset coupled with a new S-Pen feature. At this point it wouldn’t be wrong to say we know almost everything there’s to know about the handset. Well except maybe a couple of S-Pen features.

The price is still a mystery. A few days ago we saw the prices for the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. It didn’t paint a good picture. Because the prices were even more expensive than the S20 Ultra. That ignited a huge backlash from a lot of us and rightfully so. Because these prices were literally getting out of hand.

Now it looks like Samsung is considering a price drop for the Galaxy Note 20 family. Because now they are expecting a lower demand for this year’s Note phones. South Korean media is reporting that demand for Samsung’s flagship phones is faltering. As seen by the poor sales figures of the Galaxy S20 family. Where the sales were cut in half compared to the Galaxy S10 family.

Of course part of that is due to the pandemic but markets are opening right now. The majority of countries have eased down the lockdown and the economy is slowly getting back on track. But the industry insiders are saying that the sales figures for the Galaxy S20 series aren’t getting back to normal.

So experts believe the main reason the phones aren’t selling well is the outrageous prices. So Samsung doesn’t want to make the same mistake again. They might actually give in and reduce the expected prices of the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra.

We have reports from South Korea indicating the prices for the Note 20 variants in that country. The industry sources believe the Galaxy Note 20 will launch at 1.2 million Korean won (~$999). This is slightly lower than the Galaxy Note 10’s launch price of 1.25 million Korean won (~$1,040). It is a drop of almost $40 compared to the last year’s Note 10.

The US launch price for the Note 10 was $949. If this is any indication. We might see a similar drop in price in the US as well for the Note 20. The report also suggests that the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be priced at 1.45 million won. Which is nearly $1,207 if you do the direct currency conversion.

For context, the Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G had a price tag of 1.5 million won. Nearly $1,249 when it was released in South Korea. So here we see another $40 decrease in price year over year. For context, the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G was launched at $1300 in the United States.

If these reports from South Korea then the Note 20 might be priced lower than the Note 10. The Note 20 Ultra could be priced lower than the 5G version of the $1300 Note 10+. Purely judging by these reports these could be the prices in the United States. Which is certainly way better than the report from Greece we had a few days ago. That said there would be an increase in price compared to the S20 Ultra.

It makes you wonder are they really going to price the Note 20 Ultra lower than the S20 Ultra. Because if they do it, it would certainly take away the sales from the S20 Ultra. Although this report is too good to be true. It make sense considering the low demand for the S20 and the market condition right now. People are hesitant to spend this kind of money on a phone.

Corona’s infection is accelerating and Trump’s administration is determined to end the closure

Corona’s infection is accelerating and Trump’s administration is determined to end the closure

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the countries of the world exceeded 12 million, according to the statistical platform “Worlddometer”, including more than 3 million infections in the United States.

Of the total cases monitored globally, about 550,000 people have died, and about 7 million have recovered.

The United States remains the country worst hit by the Covid-19 epidemic caused by the emerging coronavirus, exceeding the threshold of 3 million infections less than a month after recording two million. The number of deaths reached about 134,000, according to the Worldwide platform.

However, the administration of President Donald Trump is determined to continue ending the general closure that has been imposed to reduce the spread of the disease.

“We have so far examined more than 39 million Americans. Of these, more than 3 million Americans have been injured, while more than 1.3 million have recovered,” Vice President Mike Pence said at a White House news conference on Wednesday.

Pence pointed out that the most dangerous states currently in terms of the epidemic are Arizona, Florida and Texas, but he spoke of “initial indications” of stabilizing the percentage of infected people.

Trump’s plans

The American Vice President called for ending the general closure and returning students to schools next fall according to new health regulations, saying, “It is necessary for students to return to the classroom to complete direct education. This is the right decision for our children.”

Pence’s comments came after he held a meeting with the Corona virus task force at the Ministry of Education, in the wake of the US president’s threat to cut federal funding if schools do not open their doors next fall. Trump did not mention the nature of this funding.

Trump noted that countries such as Germany, Denmark and Norway reopened schools “without problems” and renewed his accusation of his Democratic opponents that they wanted to keep schools closed “for political reasons, and not because of any risks associated with the virus.”

Drop student visas

On the other hand, Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology filed a lawsuit to freeze a Trump administration decision to drop visas for foreign students at universities that decided to conduct full classes online over the Coved-19 pandemic.

This came after the Immigration and Customs Agency announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will not issue visas for students of study programs that will be conducted entirely over the Internet in the fall, and said that such students will not be allowed to enter the country.

Mike Tyson Explains How He Coped With Daughter’s Death After Finding Her Dead At Home

Mike Tyson is one of the toughest men on the planet - a former World Champion and the youngest man to win the title.

His incredible sporting achievements saw him crowned the youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title when he was just 20.

Tyson then went on to win the WBA, WBC and IBF titles and is still the only heavyweight boxer to have unified them.

Despite his success in the ring, the 54-year-old's life has also been mired in controversy.

Growing up in one of New York's toughest neighbourhoods, the boxer lost his mother when he was just 16 and was taken in by his boxing trainer.

After competing in the Junior Olympic Games, Tyson turned professional when he was 18 and won his first title just a year later.

He became world heavyweight champion just 12 months after that and inside the ring, he seemed unstoppable.

Huge firms, like Nintendo, were keen to get his face on their products and games and Mike Tyson was one of the most famous men in the planet.

But as his star continued to rise, huge cracks were starting to show in Tyson's personal life.

He was married to actress, Robin Givens, but just a year after they wed the relationship had crumbled.

There were rumours of violence and domestic abuse and in a bombshell interview, with her husband sitting next to her, Givens described life with the boxer as "torture, pure hell, worse than anything I could possibly imagine".

She claimed her husband was a manic depressive and just a month later, she filed for divorce.

Three years after his marriage broke down, Tyson was arrested on suspicion of r3pe. He was accused of assaulting an 18-year-old woman in a hotel room.

On February 10, 1992, Tyson was convicted of r3pe and jailed for six years but was released in 1995 after serving less than three years of his sentence.

Against all the odds, the boxer launched an audacious come back and was soon the king of the ring once again.

He also found love again with Monica Turner, a Washington doctor, but in 2003 she filed for divorce, saying he had been unfaithful.

But where Tyson led, controversy followed close behind and in 1997 during his bout with Evander Holyfield the sport witnessed one of the most shocking incidents in its history.

The fight had to be stopped at the end of the third round after Tyson bit Holyfield on both ears, with one bite so severe it took off part of his opponents ear, which was later found on the floor of the boxing ring.

Even so, Tyson stayed in boxing, being beaten by Brit Lennox Lewis in 2002 and, despite his vast earning power, having to file for bankruptcy in 2003.

In 2005, the heavyweight stunned the boxing world by announcing his retirement.

Four years later, father-of-seven Tyson's world was shattered when his four-year-old daughter, Exodus, died in a horrifying and tragic accident.

The little girl's body was found by her seven-year-old brother at their home in Phoenix, Arizona.

She was discovered on the treadmill and it appeared she had been strangled by a cord attached to the machine.

Sgt Andy Hill from the Phoenix Police Department said at the time: "We believe the child was on the treadmill but it was not running at the time. She might have been playing like it was."

Exodus was rushed to hospital, where she was placed on life support, and Tyson, who was in Los Angeles at the time, rushed to be at his little girl's bedside.

But there was nothing that could be done and Exodus passed away on May 25, 2009.

Tyson gave an emotional interview following her death where he admitted his initial reaction had been to "get my gun, automatic just like this and go crazy".

However, he realised other parents were going through the same heartbreaking experience as he was when he arrived at the hospital.

But he admits he "couldn't handle" what had happened.

Before the interview was abruptly stopped, Tyson said: "I did some cocaine for a week, I had to get high, I couldn’t handle it at all."

Now, 54, Tyson is back in the gym and claims to be planning a comeback.

Kanye West Breaks Ranks With Trump, Vows To Win Presidential Race

Rapper Kanye West signalled he no longer supports U.S. President Donald Trump and said he had entered the presidential race to win it, in an interview published on Wednesday.

West, previously a vocal supporter of Trump, announced on Saturday that he would run for president in 2020.

“I am taking the red hat off, with this interview.

“Like anything I’ve ever done in my life, I’m doing this to win,’’ West told Forbes, referring to Trump’s trademark red “Make America Great Again” baseball cap.

He told the magazine he would run under a new banner, the Birthday Party.

West and his reality TV star wife, Kim Kardashian West, have visited Trump in the White House.

He, however, denied that his aim was to split the Black vote and hurt the chances of Trump’s Democratic opponent, Joe Biden.

“It was a form of racism and white supremacy to suggest all Black people should support the Democrats’’ he said.

The rapper told Forbes he had been ill with COVID-19 in February and would be suspicious of any vaccines developed to prevent the infection, repeating false theories that link vaccines with child developmental disorders.

“So, when they say the way we’re going to fix COVID-19 is with a vaccine, I’m extremely cautious, as that’s the mark of the beast.
“They want to put chips inside of us, they want to do all kinds of things, to make it where we can’t cross the gates of heaven,’’ Kanye added.

Netflix Moves $100 Million In Deposits To Bolster Black Banks

The streaming giant will permanently shift a share of its cash to financial institutions that serve Black communities, allowing them to lend more.

Netflix said on Tuesday that it would move up to $100 million, or 2 percent of its cash holdings, to financial institutions that focus on Black communities. It is intended to address a longstanding problem that these communities face: a lack of capital for the banks and other lenders that service them.

Earlier in June, the streaming company’s chief executive, Reed Hastings, pledged $120 million to support scholarships at historically Black colleges and universities. The move on Tuesday by the company he runs aims to fight racial inequality not through charity but via a routine commercial aspect of its business. As the company’s considerable cash pile grows, so might its deposits.

Netflix will start with $35 million, split two ways: $25 million in financing for a new fund, the Black Economic Development Initiative, that will itself invest in Black financial institutions, and $10 million deposited with the Hope Credit Union. These institutions join the roughly 30 banks worldwide that Netflix uses to hold its cash.

The big banks where Netflix and other multinational companies keep their money are not able to operate “at the grassroots level these Black-led institutions can and do,” Netflix said in a statement. “So we wanted to redirect some of our cash specifically toward these communities, and hope to inspire other large companies to do the same with their cash deposits.”

The idea was hatched in April during discussions about improving diversity within Netflix’s leadership ranks, according to company executives and others involved in the process. Aaron Mitchell, a member of Netflix’s recruiting team, took the lead in developing the idea of bolstering Black-owned and -run banks.

After encouragement from Mr. Hastings and Spencer Neumann, Netflix’s chief financial officer, Mr. Mitchell — who joked in an interview that he had “no business” devising ways the company should manage its money — worked with Shannon Alwyn of the company’s treasury division to put the plan into action.

The project took on greater urgency the next month after the killing of George Floyd while in custody of Minneapolis police officers, which set off weeks of nationwide protests against systemic racism and police brutality.

Mr. Mitchell said he had drawn on the book “The Color of Money: Black Banks and the Racial Wealth Gap,” by Mehrsa Baradaran, a law professor at the University of California, Irvine. Professor Baradaran argues that Black-focused lenders are undercapitalized, depriving these communities of economic opportunities.

“You need capital to build more capital,” she said in an interview.

Hope Credit Union, which is based in Jackson, Miss., reported just over $300 million in assets at the end of last year. The money from Netflix will have “a tremendous impact” in Black communities, Hope’s chief executive, Bill Bynum, said in an interview.

“Pound for pound, no entity has a bigger impact” than a community lender, he said, pointing to a greater ability to lend to small businesses and aspiring homeowners.

Lack of capital at banks serving rural and minority communities is a concern among regulators as well: The Federal Reserve’s chairman, Jerome H. Powell, deplored “financial deserts” in America at a forum hosted last year by Hope.

Mr. Bynum added, “Putting money where it matters is both good business and good for the economy.”

He and Professor Baradaran said there was more work to do to make a meaningful difference addressing racial economic inequality. The combined assets of Black-owned banks in the United States, Professor Baradaran said, amount to “a bad weekend for JPMorgan Chase revenue-wise.”

What ANTI-RACISM ACTIVISTS WANT FROM FACEBOOK

What ANTI-RACISM ACTIVISTS WANT FROM FACEBOOK

After years of increasing discontent, the moderation problems of social platforms begin to reach their lowest level. Last week, it is struggling to include a growing advertiser boycott that sees big companies like Facebook, Unilever, Diageo, and Coca-Cola swore any advertising on the platform for the rest of the year.

On Monday, panic spread to other platforms. As part of a new policy against identity-based hate, Reddit has banned a number of sub-loans, including the infamous / r / the_donald community. YouTube, along with its affiliates, has long banned white senior executives, Richard Spencer and David Duke. In Twitch, President Trump was temporarily banned after re-broadcast speeches were flagged for provoking racial hatred.

Many of these bans and policies have been coming for a long time, but there is a reason they all hit them at the same time. For months, a civilian group coalition, including Color Change, Sleeping Giants and NAACP, has forced advertisers to support platforms that allow racial hatred to spread unchecked. Called #StopHateForProfit, the campaign initially focused on Facebook, but it started focusing on social media in general during a global movement against racist police violence.

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has responded to growing transfer rumors that Barcelona legend, Lionel Messi, could leave the club after this season.

Messi has been at Barcelona since he was 12 and has won every laurel in club football while at the clubside, but disagreements with head coach Quique Setien and recent disappointment in the champions league has made the striker question his loyalty to the club according to reports.

Rivals, Real Madrid beat Getafe on Thursday night to climb four points ahead of Barcelona with five matches remaining in La Liga. And with the Champions League filled with strong opponents, Barcelona could end the season without any major trophy.

Asked on his thoughts if he will like Messi to leave or stay amid the rumors, Zidane said;

"I don't know what will happen but we hope not because he is in this league and we want the best in this league," Zidane said post-match.

Sergio Ramos was the hero for Madrid against Getafe, scoring the only goal from the penalty spot in the 79th minute at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium.

Zidane hailed captain Ramos, who took his La Liga tally to nine goals in 2019-20 following his 450th league appearance for Madrid.

"Our captain is our leader on the field, but also outside," Zidane said of the Spain skipper, who took his career total to 100 goals.

"He is an unrepeatable player. He is unique and we know what he transmits to everyone else. I'm happy for him for his goal because when it comes to shooting a penalty, he has a lot of confidence.

"It's almost in the 80th minute and Dani Carvajal's effort in goal is from the whole team. We know that with patience and tranquility we can score goals. This is what happened.

"The last 20 minutes with freshness we claimed a very important result. We have to congratulate all the players because what we are doing is not easy."
