Rape is a kind of sexual assault that involves sexual intercourse or any other form of penetration carried out against a person's concentrate. This act may be carried out by coercion, physical force, abuse of authority against an underaged person. This term is sometimes used interchangeably with the term sexual assault.
The rate of reporting, persecuting and convicting rape varies between jurisdictions. Worldwide, sexual violence, including rape,, is primarily committed by a male against females. On the 30th of May 2020, a young damsel known as uwa who studied microbiology in Benin was sexually assaulted and was also killed on the spot and justice is yet to take.

The presence of physical injury I always used to determine if a rape has occurred. Those who have to be through such injustice and yet have no physical trauma may be fewer inclined to the authority or seek health care. While penetrative rape does not involve the use of condoms, the use of condom reduces the risk of unwanted pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease diseases. Rationales use of condom includes; avoiding infectious diseases (HIV) especially in gang rape, eliminating evidence and making persecution difficult by giving the appearance of content and thrills from planning, and the use of condoms was an added group.

Those who have been raped have relatively more productive tract than those not being raped. In Africa, most people believe that having sex with a virgin can cure HIV/AIDS, and this leads to the rape of girls and women.

Society mistreatment of victims has the potential to exacerbate the trauma, most people who have been assaulted are being raped and considered responsible for the crime. This refers to the Just World fallacy and rape myth acceptance than individual victims behaviours may encourage rape.
PREVENTION:-
Sexual assault may be prevented by secondary school, college, workplace and education programs. A one time program for fraternity men produced sustained behavioural change, with regards to campus sexual assault, nearly two-thirds of students reported knowing victims of rape and over half reported identifying perpetrators of sexual assault.
